Black Friday

I don't know if Y'all are like me and gearing up for BLACK FRIDAY but you don't have to wait until tomorrow to check out the ads. Most of the ads are already posted here just click the scanned ads on the top.
So far I am really not that impressed by the ads this year but I am hoping to have all my shopping done by Friday.

Happy Shopping.

Have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!!!

AT&T

AT&T - Has a new A-list program, where you can call 10 numbers and be able to call them for free. These numbers of course cannot be AT&T customers (that is used for mobile to mobile) or your cell phone voicemail. If you have a plan with 1400 minutes or more...... This A-LIST plan is FREE did you hear me FREE . So figure out who you call the most and add them on. Save some money!!!!

Let me explain

Before I get more emails about what I purchased this week.
I also went to Smiths and purchased 4 gallons of milk, 2 loafs of bread, a pack of hamburger and hotdog buns. My total was $12.91.
I know you are probably wondering why I only purchased this. Well you need to understand that I have a FULLY stocked pantry, frig, and freezer. In fact, we had to try and figure out where to STUFF (get it, ha ha) the 10 lb turkey in the freezer. The things I purchased at Walgreens and Albertsons are things that my family will need at one point or another. Ex: Hot Wheels = stocking stuffer. Baby wash, feminine products = eventually we will need them.
Hope that answers some of your questions about why I purchased the items I did.

Ads and Coupons and Savings OH MY!!! Out of Pocket

In case you missed the last 3 posts. My GRAND TOTALS WERE.......

Coupons used $105.49

Albertsons $20 next visit coupon

Walgreen $10 RR

TOTAL Out Of Pocket $42.66

Ads and Coupons and Savings OH MY!!! Albertsons

I went to Albertsons, which is not my favorite store because the prices are outrageous!

I had $20 for my next trip coupon that expires on the 17th. Better use the FREE money. :)

If I can get my total to $25 then I can get $10 off a turkey. I have NO idea how to cook a turkey but thought it is good to have in the freezer so if the paycheck gets low etc we have food for a while. :) Now you know my mission is to get my subtotal to $25

I decided that Sara Lee pie and a Breyers Ice cream was a good deal at $2.99 FOR BOTH. Click Here to print off Sara Lee Pie $1 off / 1. Making $3.98 for 2 pies and 2 ice creams.

1 Sara Lee Pies & 1 Breyers Ice cream

1 Sara Lee Pies & 1 Breyers Ice cream

4 oranges

2 Johnsonville sausage

2 toothpaste

5 hotwheel cars

1 10lb Turkey $10.53 - $10 off a turkey. I got that turkey for $.53 :D I am not sure how I did this but after all my coupons and the $20 Albertsons gave me last week my total was $2.19

Note: I really didn't NEED anything, I had $20 that I had to try and figure out how to spend as wisely as possible.

Ads and Coupons and savings OH MY!!! Target

I needed to know from Target directly how they want to handle

the price matching and see if they would accept a particular coupon (you know it was that GLADE buy a candle get the refill free LOL) The customer Service lady told me to bring all the items to her and she would help us. I picked up 5 glade oil scented candles and 5 refills. I don't think it was suppose to work but the wonderful CS lady made it happen. All the candles and refills were $2.50 each, for every 5 candles you will get a $5 gift card. (worth trying out) I had 5 - $1.50 coupons and 5 when you purchase a candle get a free refill. After all the coupons and tax my total was $6.22 and she gave me $10 in gift cards. :)

I just did the transaction above to see if it would work, when I saw that it did I got 10 more candles (I had more coupons)
For this transaction I got the same Glade candle and refill deal, then added the Clue game (Target marked $23.99) I showed her my Kmart ad that had this item for $14.99 she changed the price, plus I had a $5 Target printable and a $5/1 Clue printable . Making this item $4.99 + tax.

The same with the Picureka Flipper (Target Marked 23.99) Kmart had it for $14.99, had 1 $5.00/1 Target Coupon and 1 $5 Manufactor coupon making this item $4.99 + Tax. My total after all coupons $17.81. I gave her the $10 gift cards she just gave me and paid only $7.81 OOP Oh yah I also got $10 in giftcards for the candles in this picture. LOL

Thank you Couponing to Disney for this information.

Then I traveled to another Target because I wanted to get the alphebet pad Leapfrog for $.49 and was told that another Target had them. They were right they did have 6 but when getting

to the CS desk they said that we could not Price Match this item because it was a TIMED AD. (I am planning on researching that more because it seems that if Target can get out of accepting a coupon or price matching they WILL)

I needed to get another Clue and Pictureka (woohoo I am almost done shopping for the kiddos I need to shop for) I saw that they had Monsters Inc Blue Ray for $26.99 and Up Blue Ray for $19.99. I had 3 coupons that are explained here It worked out the same as noted on Kristin's blog except Monsters Inc was $3 more. For these 4 items I saved $38 in printable coupons. My grand total was $34.07, I gave her the $10 giftcards that I received at the other Target and then just paid $24.07 OOP

2 different Targets
10 candles
10 refills
2 Clue games
2 Pictureka Flipper
1 Monster Inc Blue Ray combo pack
1 Up Blue Ray combo pack
Total OOP price $38.10 not to bad HUH! That is less then the cost of the Blue Rays.

Ads and Coupons and Savings OH MY!!! Walgreen

I told you I was going to check out the Walgreen Register Rewards.

OK, so I saw that if you purchase $20 in Tylenol products, Benadryl products, Sudafed etc you will get $10 in RR. All of my medicine for the kiddos is expired and on my list anyway so why not check it out and see how this works. The first thing I noticed is that the sales prices were not on the product, I just had to hope that the right sales price would work on the register and I have my weekly ad ready for dispute. :)
I also picked up a Childrens Tylenol and Motrin BOGO half off. I needed to get my total to $25 to be able to use the $5 off coupon on the front of this weeks ad.
Now for you all that really know me, you know that I had my list and coupons with totals ready to go. I also had the products I was going to purchase with the $10 RR right then and there. I don't want time to lose this RR so better use it all now. LOL

My total was $21.72 after $13 in coupon. I have a flexible spending HEALTH debit card and all of the items in the above picture are covered under this plan, so I had NO out of pocket expense.

So apparently the $10 was burning a hole in my pants so I went to another Walgreens to try and get the items I was planning.

What I found out at Walgreen is that it is weird. I had coupons for all these items. At first I tried to pay for the Kotex and Johnsons baby wash with the $10 but the computer would not let me use it, even though my subtotal was $11. After adding Baking Powder with a coupon ($.50) it worked. I have no idea WHY. Oh well I paid $2.37 OOP and have another $1 RR for my next visit. I hope I don't lose it before it expires 11/28. Total coupons used for this transaction $4.49

Everyone has been asking me to give them the scoop on Walgreens and the Register Rewards. I am just letting you know that I have never done this, but I am going to check it out either today or tomorrow. Even though I have my list and all my coupons bunded up ready to go, I'm not sure if I should have the kiddos with me distracting me on my first confusing run to Walgreens. :) When I get the items from Walgreen I will let you know how it worked, and what I purchased. :D

These are the RR rules thanks to Iheartwags

Rebates Rebates and more Rebates

I am addicted to rebates.
I have gotten $70.00 in rebates in the last 3 months.

I have participated in 3 Kelloggs $10 rebates and 2 Kraft rebates for $20 each.
The check I received today was from here but it looks like all the coupon books are gone.
The deal on this one was I had to purchase
10 cookie or crackers, 5 easy mac, AND 5 capri suns. At first I thought that it was not worth it, but then I looked at my Albertson ads and they had Oreos for $1.49 and Capri Suns for $1.49. (I don't drink that so I had a friend that wanted to buy them off of me. WORKS FOR ME) While I was in the Oreo aisle I saw a coupon for $2 off / 2 making those Oreos $.50 each or $5 for 10. Then I got the Capri suns. That same week VONS had Easy Macs for $.89 each. So I picked up 5. My total out of pocket for the rebate was....
Oreos 10 = $5
Easy Mac 5 =4.45
Capri Suns 6 - 8.94 with the Albertson coupons, you had to purchase even number amounts.
------------------
totaling $18.39
but wait - 8.94 Minus out because my friend bought the Capri Suns off me. :)
-------------------
$ 9.45 and I got a $20 rebate check for that. I made $11.55.

Hope this helps.

Coupons and more Coupons

Well I have a new goal.

I am taking what I am learning from Kristin and putting it into action. Every cent that I save from using a coupon is going to go into a fund. I am not sure what the fund is going to pay for at this time but in just week (I just started this last Thursday) I saved in coupons alone $38.80. I put that cash in an envelope and every week I am going to add to it. I am on CASH only so maybe it will help with Christmas. :)

Coupons for Troops

The Happy Housewife connects couponers like you and me with military families who are stationed overseas. These families can use coupons up to 6 months after their expiration dates. This is a GREAT way to recycle my coupons!
If you want to join me in supporting our military families with our expired coupons, head over to the Happy Housewife's site and contact her. She can connect you with a military family too!
