Got some GREAT things at Walgreens today that I am excited about.

I had $7 (2- $3.50) in RR to start with and had 3 transactions

Transaction 1 and 2
Zarbee Cough Syrup  $5.99   (get $6 in RR)
2 Carefree pads    $1.59
   subtotal $9.17
used 1- $3.50 RR

Carefree in ad coupon making them $.99
Paid OOP $1.12 with 65cents being Tax
Now I have 2 ~ $6 in RR

Buy 5 Secret Deodorants $3.99 each = $19.95
Buy 5 Olay Bar Soap 2 packs on sale for 25% off– price after sale at $2.46 each = $12.30
Total = $32.25
Use 5 $5 off 1 select Olay product with Secret purchase coupons from the 10/31 PG
use 3 $.50/1 Secret Deodorant PG-9/26
Highlighter $.39  (needed a filler because I had the $6 RR to use from transaction #1)
total  $6.14
used $6 RR from Transaction 1
Total was $2.78  ($2.64 was tax)
Got back a $10 RR

Folgers coffee for a great price.

4-  11oz Folgers $2.50 each (doesn't sound that great right)
   use 4 - $1 off coupons 
     $1/1 (10-31-10) RP-9/19 or
     $1/1 (11-6-10) RP-10/10
     get 44oz for $6 total (no tax on food)

If you got the 48oz container at Samsclub it is about $9.88 so you are saving almost $4 by picking them up at Walgreens. 

The only problem is today is the last day!

Toy Story 3 coupon available now

Toy Story 3 coupons have arrived, you can go to Disney Movie Rewards and sign in to get yours!  It is good for $8/1 BluRay combo pack.  They expire on November 8th.

Also- If you did not do the Campbell’s rebate toward the Beauty & the Beast, the rebate can be used toward Toy Story 3 instead. Unfortunately it has to be one or the other. You can find the $5 MIR wyb 3 Campbell’s Soup (condensed kids or Spaghetti’Os) & Toy Story 3 HERE. Swagbuck Prizes came today!

WOOHOO!

I finally ordered and received the kiddos Wallpaper border for their rooms.  I had a bit of a detour with needing a printer more.  I absolutely love Swagbucks!  The total for the 4 packages of Wallpaper border and the black ink cartridge (to print more coupons LOL)  came to $52.85 but I paid ZERO!!!!!!

If you are interested in earning free money. Swagbucks is a great way of doing it. Swagbucks is a search engine, they give you "bucks" randomly throughout the day. As you accumulate the "bucks" you can redeem them for gifts and prizes. Personally, I have been cashing them in for $5 Amazon gift cards.

I would suggest downloading the toolbar, that way everytime you search something it will automatically give you bucks. Plus every once in a while you will see a Swag code in the toolbar, blog or Facebook group. You just enter that code and you have earned even more bucks. :)

Walgreens week of 10/10 ideas with no RR

If you are new to couponing or even new to Walgreens, Wildforwags has some deal scenerios that you can try when you have no RR to start with.

Remember if you don't have coupons to go with these scenerios they might not be worth it.  I am addicted to getting these things for FREE or pretty close. Without some of these coupons I would have paid too much. (For instance I would NEVER pay $2.49 for a toothbrush but with the coupon it was $1.49 and I got $1.5 in RR so to me that is FREE)

 or use the $1/2 from 10/10 SS then your total would be 75cents different but you will have gotten 2

Inside the Noxzema I saw a $2 my next purchase. I had my husband nicely cute the coupon out without disturbing the razors (I am donating them) Now I am planning on getting some more free razors to donate.  WOOHOO

Looks like I could get alot for a little amount of money.  Even if you were to donate the items they would be a GREAT PRICE!!!

Before I get emails and calls on why I picked up 10 cream cheeses.... Well 1) they were FREE infact they paid me a dime to take them out of the store.  2) I figure with the holidays coming up I might just want to be Betty Crocker ish and bake this year.  3) they don't expire until 12/7/10.    :)

I don't have lots of time right now but I wanted to let you know of a couple of deals I just spotted while glancing at the ads today. 
Albertsons is having an 8 hour sale but I didn't see anything on the sale that was a great deal. 
The only thing I personally saw at Vons is the Raspberries for $.99 (I HATE Raspberries but my husband loves them, I am thinking about making freezer jam for him.)

They have more on sale in the ads but this is just the major things that I saw for my family in the quick minute I had to look at it.  I will post any additional items if I see that they are a GREAT DEAL!
