Did you all notice the sale for General Mills this week?
If you purchase 4 participating boxes of General Mills they will give you a Smiths gift card for $5.
Now they do have a FEW boxes at $2.50 ea (the lowest I could find). The choices were Cheerios, Honey Nut Cheerios, Chex, Total, and Golden Grahams. You can head over to Smiths and upload Ecoupons to your Smiths card and check out coupons.com or better yet SwagBucks (which has the exact same coupons as coupons.com, and earn yourself 10 extra swagbucks just for printing the coupons and redeeming them. Don't forget to print out the coupons at SmartSource to get even more printable coupons. Remember that every 4 has to be a seperate transaction.
I did 4 transactions and purchased 16 boxes, paid $13 and have a $5 gift card left over for next time. If you take the $13 - $5 Gift Card that is $8, making them $.50 per box, which follows my "Cereal has to be under a $1 to purchase it" RULE!! :)
Don't forget that you earn 200 BONUS points for shopping at Smiths between now and April 19th. It is unclear on how many times you can get the 200 pts. The receipts for my 4 transactions show I earned the 200 pts each time but I was told by the cashier that corporate is going to delete all the extra transaction pts except the first 200 Bonus Pts.
Guess we will see.
