General Mills Cereal for less than $1

 Smiths has a great Catalina deal going on right now.  When you first look at the ad it doesn't look like anything great, but just wait and see what I did to score 25 boxes of Cereal for only $0.78 ea.
When you purchase 5 participating items Smiths you will get a $5 catalina for your next visit. 

My transaction were all cereal but at the end of this post I will have all the items that are a part of this catalina matched up with the coupons.

What is a Catalina?

Catalina Category Marketing (CCM) rewards purchases of promoted products with “catalinas”, also known as “check-out coupons”. These offer incentives good on your next shopping trip to that retailer. There is usually a 4-week window on any given program/incentive promotion.

Because catalinas can most often be redeemed only at the store chain where they were awarded or printed, catalina offers are posted under the specific store forums.



Generally, Catalina coupons are manufacturer's coupons, although occasionally one will state that it is a Store Coupon. The manufacturer's coupon catalinas are not able to be combined with other manufacturer's coupons.
In other words, if you have a catalina for $1.00/2 product X and also an insert coupon for $1.00/2, you would need to purchase 4 of the product in order to use both coupons.

If you have any questions about whether a local store is doing a particular promotion you can call toll free numbers which are 1-(888) 322-3814 or 1-888-8COUPON (1-888-826-8766).
You can only use a catalina coupon at a store other than the one where it printed if the store accepts competitor's coupons.
