I had a nice trip to the fantastic Walgreens today. I picked up some great deals.

I had NO RR to start with. Just coupons for the Nivea and the Kotex.

My total OUT OF POCKET was $10.14. If I was going to just get 2 Kotex on a normal none sale / RR day I would have paid 10.98+tax. So I am going to think of it as me getting all the rest for FREE!!!

I know that I could have gotten much better deals like the Ecotrin for FREE and then getting $2 RR on top of free, but I didn't cut that coupon out for some reason and I have not gotten my printer in so I had to deal without. Here is the deal and the link to the coupon if you are interested.

Swagbucks

I just ordered a Canon Wireless printer, copier, scanner, fax from Amazon.com for $6.95. I had $75 in Amazon gift card credit because of Swagbucks. I am very excited to get it next week, I have had some withdrawls not being able to print anything out especially coupons.

I guess the kids are going to have to wait on the wall paper border for the rooms. :)



If you are interested in earning free money. Swagbucks is a great way of doing it. Swagbucks is a search engine, they give you "bucks" randomly throughout the day. As you accumulate the "bucks" you can redeem them for gifts and prizes. I have been cashing them in for $5 Amazon gift cards.

I would suggest downloading the toolbar, that way everytime you search something it will automatically give you bucks. Plus every once in a while you will see a Swag code in the toolbar. You just enter that code and you have earned even more bucks. :)

I am feeling great today. I am back in the money saving game. I know that I have not posted anything in a while, I also have not purchased anything great in a while. In fact for the last 2 months, that is right April and May I have spent a TOTAL of $400 on food and household items. Some of the reason is that I have a lot of things on hand but the other reason is that I have seen NO great deals at the stores. Disclaimer: The people that KNOW me, know that I have a rule on Cereal I don't want to pay more than $1, and I have been VERY successful for the past few years. The reason I purchased the cereal here and now is not really for the FREE milk, (don't laugh but) I got them because they had the Toy Story 3 codes inside. For every 6 codes (inside some Kelloggs boxes) you can get a free movie ticket. I already had 9 codes so with 3 more codes I can get 2 movie tickets for FREE!!
