I was showing her the ropes on how to coupon and everything that could go wrong (when trying to convience someone that it is easy) did go wrong. Every register that beeps did, managers were called, RR were reissued, you name it, it happened.

I used $3 RR and a $2 RR
My new subtotal was $.47, but tax always has to ruin things so I had to pay $3.50 OOP
$3.03 being tax alone.

*** For some reason it only took off $.97 three times, when I complained, the cashier explained that the price of the item was only $.97. I stood my ground and explained to him it is $2 off 2 products so he needs to rescan them 3 more times so that all are free. He did so but it took $.97 four times and then $2 off once. I have NO idea why it would do that but they were still free. :)
My total OOP $5.81 Tax alone was $.88
Total OOP for everything was $13.73. I also received $7 in RR and a $5 catalina so it was like spending $1.73

ReplyDeleteTargets all over the country are having this problem since they changed their computers to automatically adjust down for the price of the item. I had $1.50 off 4, and one item was .80, and it only took off .80. I said NO, I bought FOUR, and the cashier said he couldn't do anything about it, so I took those off my order.
So far Target Coprorate is ignoring all the emails they are getting (in a way; they are just writing back with their generic coupon policy), but I am going to write to them anyway.

ReplyDeleteThis doesn't make me happy. Luckily for me I could have cared less if I got the Shout or not. I am really glad that I was paying attention, I would have been very mad if I had gone home and found out that I paid for some of them.
