WOOHOO!!!

Hi my name is Geri and I am FINALLY all caught up with my coupons clipping. (hi Geri) I have to admit that I was over a month behind.  It was very overwhelming but with the help of all of my family we got it all done tonight.  My kindergartener is awesome at it, and if I didn't have so much to do I think he would have helped the entire time.  I am so excited that we got "clip all coupons" off of my large TODO list. :)

If it overwhelms you to cut coupons just know that you don't have to cut your coupons to be a fantastic "stockpiler".  I know many people that just label the front of the insert with black sharpie marker with the date and file them in a file cabinet.  When you need a particular coupon you just go to "that" insert and cut "that" coupon and put the rest back in the file cabinet until you need it.  Personally, I just like having ALL of my coupons with me when I am shopping.  You need to find what works for you and go from there.

Did you know that you pay taxes on the item even if you have a coupon for that item.  For example: if you are picking up toothpaste for $1 and used a $1 off coupon making that toothpaste FREE but you will still have to pay the tax on it.

Most of the items in the store will be the lowest prices every 12 weeks.  It may not be the same brand but it will be the same product. 

For example: Crest was on sale for $1 last week (around the lowest it goes but matched with a $1 off coupon they are FREE) so we can anticipate toothpaste (Colgate, Aquafresh, Crest etc) will be on sale in about 3 month. So the trick is trying to get enough of the products you use, at the lowest prices to last until the next rock bottom sales price. 

HINT:  You probably won't have to wait 12 weeks on the toothpaste because they are always on sale.  Toothpaste, Dental floss and toothbrushes are the easiest thing to get for FREE.  If you are new at couponing start with these items. :)

pay $2.50 oop
Get $5 Catalina
if you don't have 2 computers get 4 hotdogs use 4  $1 coupons and then get a Coolwhip your total OOP will be $3 and you will still get the $5 catalina
get a $5 catalina

5 Kraft cheese $2 ea
$5 Q from here
use $5 catalina from previous transaction
once again you can print 2 per computer I used 2 computers
